What is PAT testing?

N ow known as "In - Service Inspection of Electrical Equipment", "Portable Appliance Testing " measures insulation and earth continuity of equipment that plugs into the mains .

BOOKINGSPlease use the secure online booking system, whenever possible.Bookings requested or modified via phone or text, involves extra staff administration and a small service fee may be inccurred for this in the future.New customers must pay a deposit before booking is confirmed.You will receive an email shortly after submission with payment options.All booking requests are pending, until confirmed.Confirmed bookings are considered firm and if cancelled less than 48 hrs , customer is due to pay cancellation fee.2. USE OF EQUIPMENTCustomers must treat equipment provided with care and respect.All accidental damage or faults must be reported so that items can be repaired or replaced in time for usage by other customersYou will be charged for repair or replacement for misuse of any equipment providered or fixtures and fittings at The Music Shed.All Electrical Equipment provided will be PAT Tested You may use you own gear but it must be PAT Tested before use at The Music Shed.We offer this service for customers on site for a small fee .We accept no resposibilty for any injury caused by equipment brought into the premises that doesnt hold a current PAT test certificate3. PRIVACY The Music Shed doesn't share any information provided with any third parties whatsoever! All customer infomation is held on a secure server provided by clickbook.netOnce registered you have full control of infomation you provide.Please check their privacy policy for more information.The premises are under 24 hr camera surveillance Footage is automaticallly overwritten and never veiwed unless there is an incident eg Break in , theft or damage to equipment or fixtures and fittings.No audio is recorded.Footage would be provided to the police if any incident warranted such action.The cameras also protect your vehicles and they can be observed whilst you are in the premises.4. PARKINGThere is normally space for up to 2 vehicles to park at The Music Shed However due to several other businesses close by, we cannot guarantee this 24hrs a day.
